Sidney Calendar Advertising Clock

DESCRIPTION:  This clock is a Sidney calendar advertising clock manufactured in 1888. The clock is in excellent condition.

DIMENSIONS:  70 x 28 x 11 inches.

CONDITION:

  • Case:  The Cherry case is in excellent condition. The finish on the case is excellent and is either original or an old professional restoration. Both glasses are old wavy glass. The advertising glass has been restored with original advertisiments from Lisbon Falls.

  • Movement:  Both movements are original and run very well.  The pendulum is original.

  • Dial:  The dial pan and dial are original.

  • Chimes:  Rings a bell every 5 minutes when the advertising drums rotate.

PROVENANCE:   Purchased in Wadsworth, Oh 12 years ago.

Seth Thomas Parlor #1 Calendar Clock

DESCRIPTION:  This clock is a Seth Thomas Clock Parlor Calendar Clock No. 1 manufactured in 1863. The clock is in excellent original condition.

DIMENSIONS:  30 1/2 x 16 1/2 x 5 inches.

CONDITION:
  • Case:  The Rosewood case is in excellent condition. The finish on the case is excellent and original.
  • Movement:  The movements are original and run very well. The weights are original. The pendulum is original. Keys for door and upper movement are period and appear original.
  • Dial:  The dials pans are original and rstored by Dial House in 1996
  • Chimes:  Chimes on a gong at the hour.

PROVENANCE:   Owned for 10 years. Purchased at privately in Cleveland

Ithaca No. 8 Shelf Library Clock

DESCRIPTION:  This clock is an Ithaca No 8 Shelf Library Clock  manufactured ca 1863. The clock is in excellent original condition.

DIMENSIONS:  26 x 12 x 5 inches

CONDITION:
  • Case:  The walnutd case is in excellent condition. The finish on the case is excellent and original
  • Movement:  The movements are original and run very well.  The pendulum is original. Eight day T&S
  • Dial:  The dials appear to be original or an early replacement
  • Chimes:  Chimes on a gong at the hour.

PROVENANCE:   Purchased from collector in 1996 Rittman Oh
